The Great Suitcase Debate...

The Great Suitcase Debate...

There are two kinds of packing people in this world...
Rollers and Folders.
Those who fold the clothes they pack in their suitcase are traditional and neat,
while those who roll are innovative and resourceful.
So, which method is the more advantageous one?
Let’s look at some pros and cons...
It's no secret you may need to iron when it comes time to unpack your rolled clothes. The type of fabric greatly affects the outcome - knit, wool, and nylon are less prone to wrinkles while cotton and silk are the opposite.
Folding is said to make clothing feel bulky. So while rolling can fit more items in your suitcase, folding saves you precious time you would otherwise spend ironing.... And think of the irony when if you’re forced to use that extra space gained from rolling for an iron.  Although most hotels have irons available in the rooms(such as our)... others don't... or 20 year old irons that will sooner soak, stain or burn your clothes than get the wrinkles out.  Call ahead to avoid the risk.

The solution we can offer is using a mixture of both methods.
Roll those virtually non-wrinkle items, like that little black nylon American Apparel dress or ten pairs of socks you persuade yourself to bring and fold the collared shirts!
This way, you won’t find yourself sparring with your suitcase and can get to your destination unscathed.

Happy Travels!
